One of my favorite professors so far, he does 2-3 random attendance checks throughout the course so show up (also you don't learn it as well if you don't show up), very funny and engaging. Go to his TA's review sessions and do the study guide for each exam. Memorize the study guide and glance over the power points before tests - that's the key to success.
