Pros

Presents material clearly and lectures are concise, organized, and easy to understand. Before each class, he puts up an outline of his lecture notes, which is convenient. Very concerned with student learning, and willing to help out. Also eager for student feedback and frequently stays after lecture just to talk with students. Gussin also tells you exactly which readings will be on the exams, so you don't have to do them all.

Cons

Gussin really hates when students are late, so make sure you have plenty of time to get to his class. Trust me on this one, he will call you out on it. Also, I know a lot of people (including myself) were really confused about the research project he assigned for the end of the course. Make sure you go to office hours to ask him about it and get some help. If you do that, its really not that hard.
