Pros

It's a very informative class. At the end of the whole class, we do feel rewarded, because we've worked so hard, and have learned some valuable lessons. This will prepare for a hard job, because in this class we are left to our own, and you figure out how to solve problems on your own. And the last 4 weeks of the class are incredibly easy.

Cons

That said, it sucks to go through the first 6 weeks. It can feel pretty hopeless. So many dropped out. The profressor doesn't actually teach the class, cause this is a lab. It's taught by the TAs. The prof writes the specs, and they're very ambigous. The TAs try to help, but they want you to do work on your own, so that you learn.
