  Ben-Zvi is a fantastic professor! He really wants his students to learn the material & makes sure everyone is on the same page. He is a sweet man & welcomes his students to office hours all the time. I definitely recommend to go to his class, but he tires to make his office hours available to everyone so if there are any questions or concerns, he is able to help.

  I gave Professor Berg three stars simply because I believe he teaches virtually identical to all of the other M408K professors, which isn't very good for those who did not have calculus beforehand. That being said he was always willing to answer student's questions in class and by e-mail, and he made note of outside opportunities for review and tutoring. Tests are essentially tweaked homework problems, and there is a direct correlation between studying and not. I failed two of the exams, but studied my butt off for the final and nearly aced it.

  The tests are very similar to the homework and he often goes over the harder homework problems in class. He knows what he is talking about and sometimes stops in the middle of class and tells hilarious stories. His class always went by really fast. He only lectures and gives one homework every week. He didn't curve during the semester but made a slight curve at the end of the semester.
