Provides a transition from the problem-solving approach of Mathematics 408C and 408D to the rigorous approach of advanced courses. Topics include logic, set theory, relations and functions, combinatorics, and graph theory and graph algorithms. Prerequisite: Mathematics 408D, 408L, or 408S with a grade of at least C-; or consent of instructor. Restricted to mathematics honors students and students with consent of the undergraduate adviser.
