The guy is a good lecturer. He knows his material, and is well prepared to teach. In all honesty, if you are interested in government his lecturers are even entertaining. All things being fair, you do have a good shot at an A if you keep up with the class. Reading is recommended but not essential, however you will need to the book to complete the study guides he gives.

Really cool guy who is nice and intelligent. He has a law degree and PhD so he knows a lot about the courts and govt. in general. Lectures are pretty interesting and he tries to make the class relevant to today. Can get by without reading his assigned readings but must read the book and complete the quiz/test outlines he gives out. Final is non-cumulative. Basically if you show up and keep up with reading somewhat, you should make at least a B.
