Pros

Prof. Goddard is extremely funny during his lectures. He always has a few good jokes during his lectures. This really helps you to either take a break or catch up. He does make a boring subject better to sit though. The class starts off pretty easy.

Cons

I have never actually wasted my time on rating one of my professors but i have the kindness in my heart to warn everyone. He is one of the most arrogant teachers i have ever had. He went to MIT and thinks he is god's gift to the planet. In class he seems to be very nice and personable however one time i went to him for help and i felt as if i was a burden to him. Like he did not want me there or i was wasting his time so i never went back. The TAs may be very good. Ours were pretty helpful. He is super HARD ON GRADING. I mean entire questions he would give zero credit for. I know i made mistakes but not zero points worth. This did not only happen to me but a large portion of the class. My friends and study partners in the class who were doing awesome in the class like way above the class average got C's in the course. Expect at least a third but probably way more to get below a C. I got a B- in the class but i put like 15 hours or more each week into it. Last of all his notes are horible and i dont think they help you much anyway. Just pay attention and do plenty of homework and studying with the book.

Pros

He tells funny stories sometimes....but other than that he is very very dull. However there is a gigantic curve

Cons

The tests were pretty tough. There were three of them and a final at the end of the semester. The average on the 3rd test was around 50%.....he acted like we should have done better, but the lectures he gives are so useless because everything he says is in the book. I made 60s on the first two tests, 50something on the 3rd test, and bombed the final but somehow ended up with a B.
